Terms of Use

Effective: 23 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use the Meemori app. We have tried to keep them short and plain. By installing or using the app you accept them.

1. Who we are

Meemori is operated by GVAHIM s.r.o., Company ID (IČO) 10731121, VAT ID CZ10731121, Lihovarská 1060/12, 190 00 Praha 9 – Libeň, Czech Republic ("we", "us"). Contact: info@meemori.com.

2. What Meemori is

Meemori is a mobile app that helps you record conversations with family members, by voice or video, and uses AI to suggest questions, write the conversation down and tidy up the transcript. Recordings and transcripts are stored on your device. How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.

3. Using the app

4. Recording other people

You must have the agreement of every person you record, and tell them that the recording will be transcribed by an AI service. Do not record anyone secretly or against their wishes. Follow the laws that apply to you about recording people and about sharing recordings. You are responsible for what you record and what you do with it.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Meemori to:

We may limit or end access for misuse.

6. Credits and purchases

None of this limits your statutory rights as a consumer, for example if the app or credits do not work as promised.

7. AI output

Transcripts, suggested questions and other AI output can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable. Names, dates and places in particular may be misheard. Check what matters to you before you rely on or share it. AI output is a convenience, not advice of any kind.

8. Your content and our rights

Your recordings and transcripts remain yours. You allow us to pass them to our AI providers only to the extent needed to deliver the features you ask for, as described in the privacy policy. Meemori's software, name, logo, design and texts belong to us or our licensors; we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. AI features depend on third-party providers and may be interrupted. We may update, change or discontinue features, and we will give reasonable notice before ending the service and, where we can, a chance to export your data.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury, for intentional or grossly negligent harm, or consumer rights that cannot be waived. Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss of recordings or data stored on your device, for inaccurate AI output, for interruptions caused by third parties, or for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for any claim connected with the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Ending

You can stop using Meemori at any time and delete your account in Settings → Your data. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

12. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms, for example when the app changes or the law does. The new version applies from the date shown at the top. If you keep using the app after that, you accept it. If a change is material to you, we will make it visible on this site first.

13. Governing law and disputes

Czech law governs these terms. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there. Otherwise the competent courts of the Czech Republic decide. Consumers in the EU can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform, and in the Czech Republic the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, coi.cz) handles out-of-court consumer disputes.
